The highlight of the program is an incredible wilderness experience in the mountains of North Carolina during the last month of the boys’ stay. Whitewater rafting, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, camping, and other adventures illustrate that life can be at the same time adventuresome and constructive.

Counseling is offered frequently during the day, in all settings, through conversations with mentors during work or activities. We place a strong emphasis on mentorship, providing the boys with positive male role models during their enrollment with us.

Our on-campus academy is in session year-round to give students the opportunity to catch up on missed credits. We have on-campus teachers who support the boy’s education and tutor individual students. Boys from St. Louis, Missouri quickly catch up on missed coursework or get far ahead.
