The Ranch for Boys enrolls 50 boys ages 13 to 18 at our residential boarding school located on 30 acres surrounded by ranch and orchard country. Over our program, we focus on character, integrity, hard work, and respect. We promote a culture of positive peer pressure. We give boys responsibility for work projects and special events on campus to keep them involved in what is their home away from home. We desire to see boys grow in their faith in Christ, and we offer worship, chapel services, bible studies, discipleship, retreats and mission trip opportunities to support that growth. Students also stretch and support each other in their faith. Would any of that happen in a military school or boot camp? That’s unlikely.

We often go fishing on the Florida waterways and out in the ocean. We also take the boys on an incredible wilderness experience in the mountains of North Carolina during the last month of the boys’ residency. Whitewater rafting, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, camping, and other adventures prove that life can be simultaneously adventuresome and constructive.
While we offer individual, group, and family counseling in traditional settings, we find that most life-changing experiences tend to take place during outdoor activities and in the course of daily life. Counseling takes place frequently during the day, in all settings, through conversations with mentors during chores or recreation. We place a strong emphasis on mentorship, providing the boys with positive male role models during their residence with us.
